 Imperial Beach, California – Rolo didn't pay much attention to the
throng cheering him on as he sat on the surfboard, waiting for just the
right wave.
Murphy, owned by Mike Mundt of Kensington, cruised past a phalanx of
cameras at yesterday's third annual Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog
Competition.

Silvana Lima won her first title at Billabong Surf ECO Festival
June 22, 2008 - With the 8,5 wave in the last seconds of the heat, the
Brazilian Silvana Lima won her first title on the Billabong Surf ECO
Festival in Praia do Forte, north of Bahia. At the final, the Brazilian
defeated the current WQS number one, the Australian Sally Fitzgibbons,
who was leading the heat in the 4 feet waves.

June 13, 2008 - What a day for the Hawaiian surfers at the SriLankan
Airlines Pro in the Maldives. Starting the day with six surfers still
in contention, they ended the day with five of them through to the
quarter finals! The only one eliminated was Sunny Garcia in the
opening heat against fellow Hawaiian Makua Rothman.
